Kandhkot- Being bordering district with three provinces i-e punjab, baluchistan and sindh the infiltration of people belonging to these provinces is frequent on daily basis making kashmore and its surroundings districts including shikarpur, jacobabad, larkana and ghotki at high risk and vulnerable to contract coronavirus as there is no any facility of screening on the borders or entry points from Punjab and Baluchistan where this pandemic is imported by pilgrims (Zaireen) returning from Iran via Taaftan border.
Since there is no any information available to people residing in rular areas of district as result the pandemic may spread and may bring catastrophe throughout the district if no urgent and concrete steps were not taken on time putting people at high risk.
Furthermore, media is still kept in limbo regarding preparedness including health, food, municipal and social activists which is alarming as people are not getting access to update information concerning preventive measures.
It is imperative that the sindh government especially district administration must take rapid initiatives to start the screening process at all entry points of all the district kashmore to limit the outbreak of COVID- 19.
