She has worked on several high-profile cases, including the Limpopo Textbooks Case, which went to the Supreme Court in 2015, and the Silicosis class action lawsuit against 32 mining companies in court. In 2017, Hassim became Lead Counsel in the Life Esidimeni Arbitration, representing Section 27 and the mental healthcare patients who died in the scandal.
